Pakistani Authorities Arrest Brother of Model for Murder of Sister #QandeelBaloch
Waseem Baloch told police he strangled his sister because she dishonored the family name, The Dawn newspaper reported. She gained attention for posting pictures and videos some viewed as provocative.
The headline of the original article would have you believe this Pakistani model was killed after offending “conservatives.” Which is as true as the tooth fairy funding your 401k. There’s an all man (and women, and tranny) on deck effort to tie the word “conservative” with ALL BAD THINGS. Yes, in all caps. Stick with the narrative here.
Of course, the Pakistani model was actually killed by angry Muslims, but LOL…words.
Pakistani fashion model Qandeel Baloch, who recently stirred controversy by posting pictures of herself with a Muslim cleric on social media, was strangled to death by her brother, police said Saturday.
Her parents told police one of her six brothers strangled her to death as she slept in the family’s home in Multan, police spokeswoman Nabila Ghazanfar told The Associated Press. She said police are searching for the suspect.
Baloch, whose real name was Fauzia Azeem, was little known until recently, when she offended many conservatives by posting pictures of herself with Mufti Qavi, a prominent cleric. She said the two of them enjoyed soft drinks and cigarettes together during the daylight hours in the holy month of Ramadan, when practicing Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.
The pictures and allegations caused a scandal in conservative Pakistan, and the government removed Qavi from the official moon-sighting committee that determines when Ramadan starts and ends in accordance with the Islamic lunar calendar.

Even though for people who have at least a second grade reading comprehension, it’s clear this woman was killed because she broke the rules of Ramadan. By sharing a cigarette and drinking a soda pop.
No word yet on if the cleric, the co-conspirator in her egregious sins of cigarette-puffing and soda-sipping, was also killed for “honor,” but methinks not. Because he is, after all, a man. So feminists? Male privilege totally exists in Islam. Y’all want to get in on that action? Or are you afraid of being stoned, beheaded, or repeatedly raped?
